The Social Networking Age

Social networking has become a part of our everyday routine. We get home from work or school, we check facebook. We're waiting for a friend to come pick us up, we tweet about it. We get bored, we get on facebook and poke someone. I have an account on pretty much every social networking site. But I think it is a little sad that it is fast becoming a replacement for spending time with your friends. I would rather go for a long drive around the lake with my best friend than spend all day inside on the computer. Maybe I'm just a guy who sounds like your old crotchety grandpa, but what happened to quality time with your friends?

Friendship

Friendship is a funny thing. Its not a relationship of love, but it is also not a relationship of hate. It's a relationship of Jokes. It's a relationship of laughing until it hurts. It's a relationship of trust. You don't always know for sure if somebody loves you. You don't always know if somebody hates you. But you always know that a friend is there for you.

The Real Me

I'd Like to take a minute to tell you about myself. My name is Ben Jones, but a lot of people marshmellow my name and call me Bones. I was born in St. Louis, Missouri. I like video games, chilling with my friends, video editing, and being a complete moron. I like to give people a hard time, but i genuinly care about people. When my friends are sad, I'm sad. and vice versa. I like to try and be funny. I make jokes all the time that i realize later are completlely obnoxious. Yet people still laugh. Maybe it's out of awkwardness, maybe I'm genuinely funny. Honestly, I don't care, as long as people keep laughing. Well, kids, thanks for putting up with me. Have a great whatever-time-of-the-day-it-is.
