courage

you can try to define courage as much as you want. But you cant. you simply can't define courage. It's something you have to do or see. To stand up for what you believe in, to save a life, thats courage. But courage can come in small acts as well. When you see courage, you'll know it.

Driving

Is it all its cracked up to be? I say yes, and again yes. It brings freedom and the option to go anywhere when i feel like. I want to go see a movie, I grab my wallet and my keys and I go. Its one of my biggest acheivements in my life, getting my license. The test isn't as hard as you think and its totally worth working 20+ hours a week, sometimes, to pay for gas and insurance.

Christmas

That's right. I said Christmas. Not the holidays. As most of my readers may know, I believe that Jesus Christ died for our sins. Recently, Ive seen a disturbing turn of people calling this time of the year the holidays. Now I don't care if you believe Jesus Christ is the son of God or not, it is still a proven fact that he existed. So, why demean the man. Show him some respect and acknowledge him. I'm not demeaning the other religions who celebrate holidays this time of year. But this country was founded on God. "One Nation, Under God." It means something, people.

Leadership

Leadership, to me, is not being a total selfish moron. It's giving up your time, money, and dignity. Yes I said diginity. I am the oldest of 3 children in my family. I'm certainly not the best oldest brother. But in my time I've learned that to be a good older brother is not to harass your siblings, not to "toughen them up". It's to be there for them and to spend time with them, to show them you care. That's what leadership is about. Selflessly steering your group in the right direction, no matter what the cost.
